Almost Every Bit Of This Unorthodox Home Is Covered In Cats

If you are a cat lover, and I’d have to add, big cat lover, like obsessed, this would be the perfect residence for you. The house that sits in the Arizona desert, is nothing but a big cat house, but not exactly in a bad way, in what you might expect. The former owners owned three cats and the house has no smell to indicate that cats even lived there, but what does give it away, is what you will find on the inside.

The former owners lived there about ten years, and while the husband was ill, the wife had a lot of time doing what she did best, and that was, creating one of the most unusual cat homes ever seen. Everything in the house, and every square inch is, “cats.” Cat paraphernalia, from top-to-bottom, from cat carpets, cat puzzles that are glued to the ceilings, cat toys, cat houses, cat pictures, you name it, it’s in there.

The house went on the market and the home’s listing agency, Century 21, says that it is even more than you could describe in words, or anything could do it justice in a photo. It is something you’d have to see for yourself. The 2,500 square foot, 2-bedroom 1-bath home looks like a typical log-sided home on the outside, but the inside is nothing that you would imagine. The listing agent says that it is really a great home for someone who loves cats to this degree, but if you are not a cat person, you may want to be prepared to “sandblast” the inside and redecorate in your own style.

The asking price is $240,000 and there has been a lot of interest in the home ever since it went viral on social media. One of the biggest interests comes from cat shelters who would love to take it over and use it for their needs, which is a great idea. Especially since it already has everything in it that a cat would love, such as 12 cat condos, cat walkways, and a Medieval Cat Castle with multiple levels. While most people search for their dream home, this would be any cat’s dream home, and maybe it will end up being lots of cats’ dream home, if a shelter is able to take over ownership of this purr-fect cat dream home.
