Everyone knows that cats can get themselves into some really odd predicaments. We’ve all heard of a story where a cat was found in a strange place, and wondered how they got there. Sometimes they need a little help getting out, and we say, thank goodness someone came along to find them and rescue them. This is another story where a cat was in a bad place and a rescuer was there to help.
The story started when a man heard something crying and curious, he went outside to see what it was, and where it was coming from. After listening and trying to follow the cries, he discovered that the cries were coming from a two-meter-deep ventilation pipe. He got close to it to look inside and when he did, he could see a helpless, little kitten inside and he knew he needed to act as quickly as possible to get it out or it probably would not end well.
The video below that was posted on April 29, 2017, shows how the man rescued the feline, using a piece of material and lowered it low enough that it allowed the kitten to grab onto it. That is just what the kitten did and he pulled it to safety. The pipe was pitch black, but at the end of the piece of material you can see the glow of a pair of scared little eyes that gradually become brighter as he pulls the kitten to safety.
The Calico kitten, who appears to be just weeks old, hung on for life and began to meow as it was pulled out of the darkness and into the daylight. It seemed so thankful when it reached the end of the pipe and was finally free where another kitten, friend or sibling, was waiting patiently and the two surround the rescuer at his feet. They both seem to be very grateful to the man and thank him in the only way they know how, to rub up against him in an affectionate way.
The man wanted to share the story of the kitten rescue so he posted the video for people to see the sweet rescue.
