Monday we made you guys aware of a case in Maryland where a cat was shot with an arrow. Thankfully the cat, Xena, is expected to make a full recovery and might even be available for adoption in as little as a couple of weeks. The latest information on this case is that the Humane Society of the United States is offering a $5000 reward for information connected to the case.
We didn’t have any information yesterday on who one could contact with regards to this case but now we do. And given the success of social media in cases like this, we encourage you to share this post with as many folks as possible so that we can get closer to the Davidsonville area where the cat was found.
“It is a truly callous crime to shoot a pet cat with an arrow, forcing it to suffer for days in pain and fear,” Tami Santelli, Maryland director for the humane society, said in a statement. Anyone with information may contact Animal Control at 410-222-8900 or Anne Arundel County Police at 410-222-8610
Now let’s get out there and find these cowards.
