Abandoned Kitten And Puppy Become Best Friends Despite All Odds

Kitten and puppy

Chip and Adele are best of friends and the story of their unlikely but great friendship began when they met at Operation Kindness which is a no-kill shelter located in Texas.   Chip is a cute Chihuahua pup.  His owners turned him in at the shelter when he was just 5 weeks old because they couldn’t take care of him.  Adele is lovely kitten who was found in the street without any family when she was just 4 weeks old.  On March 20, 2015 both of them came to the shelter and the staff decided to pair up the young animals.  The pair bonded quickly and became really good buddies.  “They instantly bonded and became sweet friends,” said Natalie Buxton, foster mom of the pair.

Chip was described to be “sweet and laid-back” while Adele is fun of “climbing everything”.  The pair is inseparable.  In fact, both of them were fostered together for about five weeks before they were made available for adoptions.  Both animals do things together and that includes eating, sleeping and of course, playing.  Since they do most things together, they needed to be adopted together too. In an effort to promote the pair to be adopted together so they won’t get separated, a photographer stepped in and took lovely pictures of the animals.  Chip and Adele has their own Facebook page where anyone can follow them and view their adorable pictures and videos.  Watching their cute and funny videos sure brighten up our day.  Chip and Adele are going to be available for adoption at the end of this month when they are ready and after they get all their vaccinations.

If you are interested in taking this very adorable pair, please visit Operation Kindness website at http://www.operationkindness.org/opk/?newevents=chip-adele-orphaned-best-friends to learn more about their adoption requirements.  We wish both Adele and Chip to find their forever and loving home soon.  We are sure their lucky future pet parent/s will be glad to have them because they are simply adorable.  Based on the comments from their Facebook page, we are quite certain that the shelter will receive a lot of applications to adopt the sweet and lovely pair.
