In Ohio, Macedonia firefighters rescued a cat from a trailer fire on Tuesday. The fire department was called to a trailer on North Bedford Road at about 2:40 p.m. on Tuesday. Fire officials said no one was home at the time, but crews found two dead cats and a dead bird inside. Firefighters discovered a third cat, which was unconscious, in the kitchen area.

They revived the cat using an animal rescue kit and oxygen mask. According to fire officials, the cat had difficulty breathing and was taken to the Macedonia Veterinary Clinic. On Wednesday, workers tried to get the cat eating and started it on antibiotics so it doesn’t get pneumonia.

We think that the cat is going to be OK but we’ll keep you posted if we hear anything more. Thank God the fire department was there for the rescue. Story via
