Cat is Stuck in Tree for Ten Days With No Hope of Getting Down

Cats

Monica Montoya is going through a huge life dilemma right now, and there is nothing she can do about it. Her cat of more than four years, Bunny, is currently stuck in the neighbor’s tree. It’s not just your average cat stuck in a tree story, either. The cat climbed up the tree more than ten days ago, and has not been able to make its way down the tree since. The local fire department has been out more than once to try and help, but the tree is hollowed out and too dangerous for them to climb. At the moment, they are stuck on the ground looking for ways to get the cat to come down the tree to safety. The only option at this point is for the tree to come down, but the homeowners whose tree it is are not willing to allow that.

Now the concern is that the cat has been there for ten days, which means it is starving to death and very likely dehydrated. It’s a situation that cannot be easily fixed in any way, and it’s one in which people are worried. Animal activists are horrified that the neighbors won’t allow the fire department to cut down their tree to get to the cat, and they are already protesting and making life miserable for the homeowners. It’s been a long ten days, and so far there is no answer as to how they will get this cat down before it is too late.
