Family in Stamford Searches for Missing Cat After Tree Destroys Home

stamford cat lost

When life hands you lemons, you have to find a way to make some sort of cocktail out of it unless you are pregnant or sober – then you make lemonade. That’s what a family in Stamford is attempting to do right now after their entire world crashed down around them over the weekend. It literally crashed. The 75-foot tree in their yard came crashing down into their home on Sunday during a gusty storm. Thankfully, the couple was not home during the crash, so they are all right. They lost everything, though, and it does not appear their home is salvageable. To make matters even worse, their 12-year-old cat, Lilly, is missing. She’s a beautiful calico, and she means everything to the family whose home was destroyed.

The family has been taken to a local hotel, and they have received a ton of offers of help and assistance since their home was destroyed. However, all they want is for their cat to come safely home. They are asking that everyone please keep an eye out for her near their home on Elmbrook Drive. She loves to have treats and she is a very friendly cat, and they are hoping that this information will make it easier for others to find this cat so that they can bring her back to her family. They’ve lost it all this weekend, and their darling cat is all they have left. Here’s hoping someone comes across this darling cat and does the right thing by bringing her home to her family.
