Famous Radio Host Flips Car to Avoid Hitting Cat in Street

Nick Grimshaw is a radio DJ with a love of animals that is unparalleled. Most of the photos we see of him include his little dog, Pig, and we love seeing the two of them together. However, we do have to admit that there is something to be said about someone who loves animals so much he is willing to flip over his Mercedes SUV to avoid hitting a cat in the middle of a London street. All right, so he wasn’t exactly willing to flip over, but he was willing to swerve to miss the cat and that’s what happened. Thankfully, all involved in the accident are just fine. We don’t really know much about the cat other than the fact that it was simply in the way of his SUV and he did not want to kill it.

There is no word on whether or not the cat was a stray or if it belongs to someone who might have been nearby. All we know is that he missed it, and the cat has a lot of thanks to give to this radio host for being so willing to do something so dangerous. We’re also just happy that there was no one nearby and that he did not cause further damage to any other vehicles when he rolled his own. Thank goodness all is well, and what a nice thing to do for a cat. Children, do not try that at home. Slow down, but never swerve is the advice I was always given.
