Long Lost London Cat Shows Up Eight Years Later in Paris

missing cat

One couple from London was absolutely horrified when they lost their cat more than eight years ago. This cat was one that they adopted together when they were married and their lives were in a better place, and they loved the cat so much. They spent months looking for the cat, whose name is Moon Unit, before giving up hope that their precious feline friend would ever come home to them. In the past eight years, they’ve divorced and moved on with their lives. Both have been under the impression for many years that their long lost cat was likely no longer even alive or he would have come home. It’s been so long since their cat was missing that they didn’t think either of them would ever receive a phone call telling them that their cat was alive and well – in Paris.

Both received calls about the cat and made the decision to go get the cat together. It was a happy reunion for the sweet cat, even though no one has any idea where he was, what he’s been doing or how he’s been living his life for the past eight years. It’s a fair assessment to assume that they’ll never learn how their cat ended up traveling all the way from London to Paris, either. However, now Moon Unit has been reunited with his family. There is no word on who will get him, if they will share him or how they get along, but we know they are happy.
