Family Buys Boat and Finds Two Newborn Kittens Inside

When a family from Virginia decided to buy a boat in Georgia, they went and picked it up. They drove it back home with them, and it’s not exactly a short drive. When they got home, they were so excited to finally use their boat, but they were shocked to find two small, adorable kittens in the boat. They were clearly newborns so small that they’d barely just opened their eyes. It’s been decided that their mother must have put them into the boat so that they could have a little protection, and she had no idea that someone would come take the boat. The family was immediately attached to the kittens but knew that they could not care for them on their own, so they took them to a local vet who knows someone who can.

The little kittens were only nine days old at the time, and they’re now being cared for by a woman who has experience with newborn kittens. She is caring for them as a surrogate since they do not have a mother, and she will care for them until they are big enough to care for themselves. The good news is that the family who found the kittens is so attached to them already that they want to keep them when they are big enough. This little story has a happy ending, and we are thrilled that this family did the right thing when they knew they couldn’t care for these kittens at this age on their own.
