What It’s Like to Work When You Have Cats

Those of us who work in an office environment, whether it is at your company’s office or in the comfort of your own home, often wish and dream of having our cats around while working, especially since we often miss them so much while we are working. Working with your cat as a tiny distraction here and there doesn’t seem all that bad – after all, spending your break with the option of petting your cats sounds like the perfect way to spend a lunch break! It may seem like fun and games having your feline around – and it often is. The only thing is, that’s the problem: your cats will probably get in the way of your work and prevent you from doing what you need to do so you can pay attention to them. In a viral cat video, it shows us just what it’s like to work with cats all around you – and it’s quite the reality check!

In the video below, you can see cats being anything but helpful to the productivity of their humans. From playing with them to stealing their seats to sitting right on top of the keyboard on their desks, cats are the best work distraction ever! What they are really good at, though, is making use of all of the office supplies and machines; after all, they make sure that everything works in tip top shape firsthand. A few of the cats keep the desk chair warm and useable for the humans, while one checks out the shredder and another makes sure that the printer has enough paper in it. There’s also one very assisting cat who checks out the trash can for quality to help its human. While they may prevent their humans from doing their jobs, cats make sure to at least do their jobs!
