Now You Can Have a Cute Fluffy Kitten Delivered to Your Desk by Lunch

Kitten on desk

Are you a cat person who simply cat get enough feline fixes?   Are you a card carrying member of the crazy cat society?  If you are and if you live in Australia, you are in luck.  You see a new service has just been launched in Geelong, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Sydney that will deliver kitten’s right to your office desk.

This cat on demand service, is app based and will cost around £20.50.  While it’s unclear how long you will get to spend with the kittens, it’s a really great pick me up during an otherwise dull day at the office.  While the service is not available in the United States, there are plans in the works that will bring the service to the states soon.

These animals come from an animal shelter and are available for adoption, if you just happen to fall in love with one of them.  This is probably the whole idea behind this service and I am sure that many of these kittens will get adopted out.  I wonder how many have already found homes, with the people who have rented them? It would be very hard to give these cute kittens back to the shelter, after spending some time with them.

The service can be utilized between the hours of 12 and 4 PM.  It only takes 15 minutes to receive your very own cuddly friend and the service has gotten a lot of good reviews.  While some companies have policies against animals in the office, there are many that don’t seem to mind the idea.  In fact some believe that having animals in the workplace, increases productivity and reduces work related stress.

Being a cat lover I would love to see this service come to a city near me. How about you? If you don’t have a lot of money to spend, you can also opt for the split service option and share the fee with a co-worker.  Although you won’t get to spend as much time with the kitten, you will save a few bucks and get to experience this wonderful service.
