Matthew Bershadker is president and CEO of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), the first animal welfare organization in America and a national leader in the rescue and protection of at-risk animals. A lifelong animal lover, Mr. Bershadker joined the ASPCA in 2001, serving most recently as Senior Vice President of the ASPCA Anti-Cruelty Group (ACG) Before joining the ASPCA, Mr. Bershadker worked for organizations including Share Our Strength (SOS) and the Rape Abuse Incest National Network (RAINN).
