Newly Adopted Cat Has an Incredible Connection with Baby

Cat Reacts to Baby

One of the most difficult decisions parents can make is whether or not to get a new animal when they have a child.  It’s tough because when you get down to it, it’s a real wild card.  Think about it.  No matter what you do, an animal is an animal and at any moment can potentially do harm to a child.    Another factor going into this is that while cats want a lot of affection, babies need it even more from their parents.

A cat might get jealous when there’s a new child in the house. However, this adorable feline Lemsie clearly adores his new buddy and comes running every time he makes a sound. Needless to say Lemsie has put all of the parents concerns to bed.  This adorable video shows the beginning of their precious friendship.

Just remember folks.  When getting a new animal there are some things you can do to make sure that their adjustment is as easy as possible.  Be sure to provide a cool, calm environment for any new animal.  Make sure they are well feed.  Make sure you have a nice sleeping area and even have something that potentially reminds them of their last stay.  While some cats adjust very easily to their new surroundings, some have a more difficult adjustment period.  While these steps don’t guarantee success, they certainly improve your chances.

Best of luck and hopefully you’ll have a cat just like Lemsie here.
