Meet Pooh. Pooh is an amputee cat from Bulgaria who recently got bionic legs. Unfortunately there’s no real explanation as to what went wrong with the cat’s original legs, but Pooh has adjusted to his new ones just fine and he’ll be ready for adoption soon. We can’t wait to see where Pooh winds up!
By the way, can we just talk about how impressive medical technology has become for cats? 10 years ago you would have never heard of a cat getting “bionic legs” because for the most part these things didn’t even exist! Nowadays so many cat lives are being saved because of this breakthrough. When in most cases a cat would be put down if they were faced with this situation, today cats are provided new limbs, rehab therapy, and a new lease on life.
Nine lives is becoming a lot more, and deservedly so!
