Relief and Happiness
This woman and this man are just so happy that their cat is alive that they cannot even focus on the fact that they should be giving the cat the oxygen that it needs to remain healthy. They are so overwhelmed with happiness, and likely shock after what just happened, that they cannot focus. It’s not uncommon after a tragedy such as this one, and we can’t blame them for being both relieved and happy in the midst of their shock and probably confusion.
